Spent the first half of the day at the courthouse. I was there to see a guy I used to drive every day to work and back. There was a lot of stress that came into his life over the past few weeks with his sister being sick and his therapist treating him badly.
He didn't turn to God for his relief. He instead violated his probation by having a few beers and as a consequence has to serve 9 months no probation.
Pretty sad to see him off (he's the one in orange in the second picture). Small actions can produce drastic punishment.
