One of our rental homes was recently invaded by a SWAT team because it was a drug house (we the renters came with the house when we bought it). So Brad and I thought we'd check it out while we were waiting in something next door.
We found the front door all torn up and the place was trashed. Someone had broken through the chain link fencing that had been stapled over a window, pushed in the window air conditioner, and stolen the nicer appliances.
Out back we found a really sickly dog in a little shack cage. The owners had been gone for over a week. We called animal control and a lady came and took it away to care for it.
